Opener (Put Them at Ease)

  1. Tell me a little about yourself — what have you been doing lately?
  2. Have you been to Popbar before? What did you think?
  3. What made you want to apply here specifically?

Reliability & Work Ethic

  1. Tell me about a job where being on time and consistent really mattered. How did you handle that?
  2. What's your availability like week to week — any hard conflicts?
  3. If your coworker called out sick an hour before your shift started together, what would you do?

Customer Service

  1. Tell me about a time you made a customer's experience genuinely better. What did you do?
  2. A customer gets their pop and the dip cracked off. They're frustrated. Walk me through how you handle it.
  3. How do you feel about proactively talking to customers versus waiting for them to come to you?

Food & Kiosk Fit

  1. Have you worked in food service before? What was the hardest part?
  2. Our kiosk is outdoors at the Veranda — hot in summer, cool in winter. How do you handle that?
  3. Walk me through what "clean workspace" means to you during a busy shift.

Close

  1. Are you looking for something long-term or is this more of a stepping stone right now?
  2. Any questions for me about the role or what a typical day looks like?
